14th July..

Woke up as usual..

Reached tbooth early..

Started to prepare myself for work..

Felt vibration from my hp in my pocket..

Saw 2 missed calls..

It's Kak Nari and Shanker..

It puzzled me..

Den I received a sms..

I was shocked..

Called Kak Nari..

She din answer..

Called Shanker..

He din answer..

I was so anxious..

I broke down..

Went to see u at night..

The cold and emotionless face lying in there..

No.. Tat's not the Panjang we know..

Yet we all know it's u..

We stood at one corner..

Shanker told us..

U were looking out for us when U were at Bongo on Sunday..

"Hey Bro, where's the 3Ls and 1 S?"

My heart sank..

Den U also mentioned..

Tat U wan to go into night safari..

U haven been in there..

U told Shanker tat U wan to go with the bongo gang..

Especially the 3Ls and 1 S..

My heart sank deeper..

Shanker was depressed..

Kak Nari and I hugged him..

We know he's blaming himself..

For not going down to Bongo with u..

But it's fated..

We all got to accept it..

15th July

Requested to go off early..

Went to Mandai Crematorium to send u off..

Scores of ppl there..

Ur friends.. Ur relatives and ur bike club members..

We are all so glad..

Cos U are so well liked..

Cos U are being loved by everyone..

Finally it's time for u to go..

We cried.. Cried hard..

Den Kak Nari requested to go Bongo..

We sat at the table when I first met u..

I realised tat I miss ur laughters..

16th July..

As usual, bought a newspaper while otw to bus stop..

Saw ur news on the cover page..

Felt upset over it..

For the past 3 days, I haven been eating well..

Cos whenever I eat, it reminds me of dinner with U and the FOBs at Bongo..

I wonder why I reacted this way..

We arent tat close..

Not as close as u are with Shanker..

Perhaps I already treated u like a brother..

Like a good friend..

Now wat's left behind are only memories and photos we took..





Ur smile, ur laughters and ur nonsensical yet funny remarks will always be with us..
