Lilian's thoughts

Sometimes I really wonder if I'm actually a malay...

Because common question asked:

"Are u a malay??"

Hahahah...

Normally when chinese customers talk to me, they will use English first..

Den if they hear me speak chinese, they will go on with the common question..

"Are u a malay??"

"U sure U not malay??"

"Are u mixed blood??"

Hahahaha...

Guess I really look like a malay..

Anyway, my mum told me a very unbelievable issue...

They say when a woman is pregnant, watever she comes in contact with will have sth to do with her baby in future..

So tat day when I told my parents tat an uncle thought I was malay, my mum told me abt an incident tat happened when she was pregnant...

She came across a baby girl who was baby-sitted by her auntie or neighbour.. (I forget liao..)

The baby girl is cute with big eyes and looks just a malay baby doll...

My mum told the auntie tat the baby is so cute..

Guess her parents must be malay...

But the auntie said tat the baby is a pure chinese..

And ever since tat, my mum always remember tat baby girl...

When I was born, my parents was quite surprised to see tat I actually look exactly like the baby girl...

My features and even the shape of my face...

When my parents brought me back to my grandma's shop, the first question asked was:

"Is she a malay??"

Even my relatives asked my parents:

"Did u bring the wrong baby back??"

Hahahahah...

Till now, I'm still being mistaken as a malay...

When my parents first started their business at LPS, ppl all thought tat I was only working for my parents...

When my dad introduced me as his younger daughter, they all dun believe tat I'm his daughter..

Hahahaha...

One of the uncle at LPS even gave me a malay name..

Fatimah.. tat's wat he always called me...

Hahahahaha...

Maybe I should go learn malay...

I do know how to speak a bit of malay now...

Hahahaha....

Anyway, supposed to go gym-ing with Rumai yesterday...

Sth cropped up...

May God bless Rumai's bro...

Stay strong...
