Family Dinner at East Coast Seafood centre

I'm back...

As said, went out for dinner tat day...

After much searching, went to East Coast Seafood Centre..

Lots of seafood restaurants over there...

Jumbo Seafood, Long Beach Seafood, The Red House and Fisherman Village etc...

Finally settled at Long Beach Seafood Restaurant...



Lots of live seafood there...



Me, Linda and Mummy was choosing the dishes...

Den we decided to take the set menu..

Which costs $248+..

It includes 7% GST...

But the best part is NO 10% service charges...

It was super crowded there...

And it was like Tuesday yesterday..

Can U imagine the crowd on weekends??

I tink must queue for seats bah...

Anyway, cam-whoring while waiting...

So we had a great meal of:

Vietnam Chrysanthemum Fish

House Specialty Prawns



Australian Clams with minced garlic

Beansprouts with Golden Needle Mushrooms (Ok, I dun know how to translate into English)



Fried Rice with Salted fish and beansprouts

Glutinous Rice (Pulau Hitam) Ice Cream (Recommended!!)

Nice food, Nice ambience...

Though, the service is so-so and they took a long time to serve the food...

Some things to mention abt their service..

Firstly, Linda actually ordered the bamboo clams with minced garlic...

They changed the dish to the Australia Clams without informing us..

Linda did not want them to serve us with tat dish...

The manager did not come and inform us of the change at first..

Until the waitress told him tat we did not want them to serve us with tat dish..

Den he came over to explain tat the bamboo clams are sold out...

Secondly, we ordered for two plain rice when they served the first dish...

But all the way till we finish the meal, we din get our plain rice...

Thirdly, we requested for fried mantou (bread) for dun know how many times...

And it was finally served after we finished all the dishes...

Last, Dessert was served wrongly...

We requested a change and they were like "Ohh, u wan pulau hitam ice cream??"

Come on, is not "ohhh.. we want tat"...

It included in the set menu, my dear...

HAIZ!!!

Anyway, the waiters and waitresses are generally considered polite..

We still had a great meal there...

Went home after tat...

Was supposed to meet Lenice...

But my dad was kind of unhappy...

He dun really like Lenice just because she din greet him the other time...

So when he knows I eventually cancelled my outing with her, he was kind of happy again...

HAIZ!!!

Wat can I say??

He's the father.. The DOMINANT KING at home...

Felt a little grumpy at home yesterday...

I know it's kind of dangerous to stay out late...

But I'm only have two off days twice a week...

I cant even go out with my friends at night or weekends...

My friends normally have to accommodate with my time to go out together...

Now I cant even stay out late...

I'm already a grown up...

Cant I just have a little more freedom??

It doesnt mean tat ppl who stay out late = bad kids...

Haiz...

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!

Fed up ah!!!!

Anyway, thanks to Irwin and Thomas who listened to my grumblings...
